THE FORT

The Fort is a resort project located near Chal Beach, Kannur. The site is situated approximately 200 meters away from the beach and is divided into two zones: the island area and the mainland area. The island zone is designed for guest rooms and a wedding center, while the mainland accommodates the restaurant and reception spaces. The site is surrounded by streams on three sides, with water bodies enhancing the natural ambiance of the resort. The design combines elements of Kerala and Tibetan architecture, while also drawing inspiration from the historic forts of Kannur. The ground floor is constructed using slanted black stone to resemble the traditional forts of Kannur, giving the project a strong and timeless character.
